Explore the diverse immigration pathways offered by Canadian provinces and territories.
What is a PNP?
Provincial Nominee Programs allow Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and are interested in settling in a specific province. Each province has its own unique streams and criteria to target different groups, such as students, business people, and skilled workers.

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
Ontario’s PNP is the largest in Canada. It offers various streams for foreign workers, international students, and entrepreneurs. The OINP includes streams aligned with Express Entry, which allows successful nominees to receive an additional 600 CRS points. Language requirements vary by stream but are often a key component.
British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)
The BC PNP provides a pathway to permanent residency for skilled workers, healthcare professionals, and entrepreneurs who want to contribute to British Columbia’s economy. The program operates on a points-based system and frequently holds draws to invite eligible candidates to apply.
Quebec Programs
Quebec has its own separate immigration system. The main program is the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP), which is now managed through an online portal called Arrima. The province selects its own immigrants based on a unique points system, which includes factors like education, work experience, and language proficiency in French.
