Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
The Federal Skilled Worker Program
The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) is Canada’s flagship immigration program for professionals and skilled workers seeking to become permanent residents based on their qualifications. Managed through the Express Entry system, the FSWP is designed for applicants with skilled work experience, education, and language abilities who can contribute to the Canadian economy.

To be eligible, you must first meet the minimum criteria:
- At least one year of continuous, paid, full-time (or equivalent part-time) skilled work experience in a TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 category.
- A minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 7 in all four language abilities.
- A Canadian secondary or post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree, or an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for foreign education.
- Sufficient settlement funds for you and your family.
If you meet these, your profile is then assessed against a 100-point grid based on six selection factors: age, education, work experience, language skills, adaptability, and whether you have a valid job offer. You must score at least 67 points to qualify to enter the Express Entry pool.
Navigating these requirements requires precision. As expert Canada immigration consultants in Canada, we provide comprehensive immigration services in Canada to ensure your application is flawless. We meticulously review your qualifications to build the strongest possible case, positioning you for success in the Express Entry pool.
